7th December 2020 - Certification Europe has today announced their partnership with Thrive.App, which has involved the development of an employee engagement and communications app ‘CE Connect’.Certification Europe Ltd. is a leading accredited Certification Body based in Ireland with offices in the UK, Italy and Japan.
With dispersed teams, across different locations as well as multiple business units (Certification Services, Environmental & Inspectorate Division and Technical Services), Certification Europe needed a ‘central hub’ for sharing latest updates, urgent announcements, in particular regard to Covid-19 news, and also for making sure they continued to lift spirits with competitions, fundraisers, games, onboarding of new employees and celebrating birthdays before and during their move to remote working at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Employee engagement was even more necessary at this time than ever before.

Environmental & Inspectorate (E&I) Division
Certification Europe provides both environmental inspection services throughout Ireland for a number of private bodies, local authorities and government bodies. We have a growing, dynamic team of experts in the areas of environmental, compliance and enforcement inspections. We work with local authorities on surveillance operations, awareness campaigns, investigations, compliance inspections, data validation, data analysis, environmental sampling, chain of custody and preparing files for legal proceedings both in district, circuit and high court proceedings. The E&I team is responsible for the enforcement of legislation and regulations regionally and nationally including the National Transfrontier Shipments (TFS) Office and has in depth experience and expertise in collaborating with numerous stakeholders such as Customs, Revenue and An Garda Síochána to inspect sites where alleged breaches of these regulations have occurred.
The Technical Services Team leads the delivery of specialist multidisciplinary technical services on behalf of Certification Europe. Their services span market surveillance, regulatory and environmental compliance, waste crime, waste management planning, waste data expert support and technical reviews across a suite of public sector clients at a local, regional and national scale in Ireland. Drawing on a wealth of unique technical expertise, the team integrates their knowledge of rigorous project management, exemplary inspection and auditing best practice approaches, unparalleled legislative understanding and unrivalled stakeholder engagement experience to deliver positive inspection and environmental outcomes on behalf of our clients.
